With over 30 years of accounting experience, Malissa Crenshaw brings a wealth of financial expertise and unwavering dedication to her role as Treasurer of Greater Spirit Ministries. Her extensive background in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning has been instrumental in ensuring the ministry’s fiscal integrity and long-term sustainability.

Malissa oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and stewardship of ministry resources, ensuring transparency and accountability in every aspect of financial decision-making. Her commitment to excellence and ethical financial practices has strengthened the ministry’s ability to support its mission and outreach efforts.

Passionate about community service, Malissa believes that sound financial stewardship is key to empowering ministry programs and making a lasting impact. Her leadership continues to uphold the financial stability of Greater Spirit Ministries, allowing it to thrive and expand its reach in service to others.

Pastor Claire CarterChief Operations Officer (COO)

Greater Spirit Ministries is pleased to welcome Pastor Claire Carter as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). With a deep passion for ministry and a strong background in organizational leadership, Pastor Carter brings a wealth of experience to this pivotal role.

Pastor Carter has dedicated her life to serving both the church and the community. Her journey in ministry spans over two decades, during which she has led various church initiatives, developed strategic programs, and nurtured spiritual growth among congregations. Known for her visionary leadership, Pastor Carter has played a key role in strengthening operations and fostering outreach efforts that impact lives beyond the church.

As COO of Greater Spirit Ministries, Pastor Carter will oversee the day-to-day operations of the "Feed Them Program", ensuring efficiency and alignment with its mission. Her leadership will focus on enhancing programs, optimizing organizational structures, and expanding community engagement. Her commitment to faith-based leadership and administrative excellence will be instrumental in driving the program forward.

Pastor Carter’s dedication to service is rooted in her deep faith and belief in empowering others. She is excited to contribute her expertise to Greater Spirit Ministries and looks forward to working alongside the leadership team, staff, and partners to further the ministries mission.

Willie Crenshaw, Jr. Founder & President

Willie Crenshaw Jr.

Rev. Crenshaw received a Bachelor of Art Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, Newburg, Indiana. He has also studied at Oxford (England), Wilbur Water School of Divinity, Virginia Union University, University of Richmond and Virginia State University. Pastor Crenshaw is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology.

The Reverend Willie David Crenshaw, Jr. is the pastor of the historic Mount Calvary Baptist Church, one of the oldest African American Churches in Orange County, Virginia. His ministerial career includes serving as Associate Pastor of the Shiloh Baptist Church, Mclean, VA under the pastorate of the Rev. Dr. Carson E. Wise, Sr. He has also served as a Deacon, Youth Minister and Christian Education Director. Pastor Crenshaw was licensed to preach the gospel on September 28, 1998 and ordained on June 25, 2002.
